I make sure that the student feels comfortable with me at first and adapt my lessons to the student's needs. I place communication and listening at the center of everything, this allows me to identify the needs but also the expectations of the student. It is important that the course is not one-sided but that there is a constant exchange. I encourage students to always ask questions if something is not clear to them. I always encourage my students so that they don't lose confidence and keep moving forward.

A typical session has three steps. First, we will review the theory that will help the student assimilate the lesson. This will be followed by a session of exercises during which I will accompany the student in solving the problem. To finish with a global summary of the session in order to highlight the difficulties encountered during the resolution of the exercises. I also plan exercises to prepare the next session. The duration of the exercises to be prepared is about one hour.

We are obviously talking about a typical session, no student is the same, each one requires a different methodology. The course of a "typical session" can therefore vary. I adapt to all students.

I recommend one-hour sessions. If the session is planned to last more than an hour, a break will be taken halfway through the session. Indeed our concentration drops very quickly, this break is necessary for the student to be concentrated again on the lesson.

I recommend a regular follow-up. Regularity usually leads to success. Being assiduous in your work allows you to assimilate concepts and notions in a homogeneous way. The student's progress will not be immediate, he/she must first assimilate the concepts which can take time. The student must also be able to provide a personal commitment, without that the progression will be delayed.
